MaRITeC-X  – Kick-off meeting and Official Presentation of the Project

The MaRITeC-X  – Marine and Maritime Research, Innovation, Technology Centre of Excellence project

A consortium led by the Municipality of Larnaka, Cypriot SMEs and numerous local stakeholders is building the MaRITeC-X Marine and Maritime Research Innovation and Technology Centre of Excellence. The new Centre will act as an enabler of scientific and business excellence in – the crucial for our island – Marine and Maritime sectors, including the – rabidly emerging – Offshore sector; and will be aligned to the overall Smart Specialization Strategy for Cyprus (S3Cy) and the European priorities on specific pillars with competitive advantages to the Cypriot economy.

The 2 days event, scheduled for the 5th and 6th of October 017, will take place at the House of Arts and Literature, Larnaka, Cyprus & Larnaka Municipal Art Gallery presenting the project’s objetives to a widerange of decision makers,politician, and marine and maritime stakeholders.
