On Tuesday October 10th the Rector of the University of Cyprus Professor Constantinos Christofides and the Mayor of Larnaka Mr. Andreas Vyras officially announced the new “Faculty of Marine Science and Technology” of the University of Cyprus which will be based in Larnaka. MaRITeC-X project being coordinated by the municipality of Larnaka that will host the new faculty, will seek close cooperation with the new faculty bridging academic education curricula with the research & innovation priorities of the future Centre of Excellence.
