From the 8th until the 11th of November Cyprus was at the spotlight of the international shipping sector due to the “Maritime Cyprus” Conference, which is an established biennial high level event in the country, attended by a large number of shipping executives and distinguished delegates from various shipping organizations.
It is worth noting that the event was officially opened by the President of the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Nicos Anastasiades, while distinguished guests such as the Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization and the Commissioner in charge of Transport of the European Commission addressed the conference.
Members of the Maritime Institute of Eastern Mediterranean, partner of MaRITeC-X, attended the high caliber event and informed participants who visited the MaRITeC-X stand on the objectives of the project.
